Victor Hugo’s home – We love the Broadway play, Le Miz, so we had to visit Victor Hugo’s home at 6 Place de Vosges where we ogled the desk where he wrote Les Miserables.

Dingo Bar – located in the Montparnasse area, this is where Hemingway and Gertrude Stein used to hang out.

Hotel des Grandes Ecoles – When you enter the gates of this hotel, you experience a respite from the crowds and noise of Paris. The courtyard gardens were lovely and we enjoyed our breakfast outside on the patio. It was also a wonderful location to appreciate a bottle of wine and a game of cards under the trees.

Midnight in Paris – We found the location where Gil meets the mysterious car at midnight. He waits on the steps of Saint Etienne du Mont Church on Rue de la Montagne Saint Genevieve.

Boca Mexa – Excellent Tex Mex food that we found on one of our favorite walking streets. Who knew delicious Mexican food could be found in Paris?

Shakespeare & Company Bookstore – This 100 year old bookstore is a treat to visit on the Left Bank right by the Seine.

Gertrude Stein’s home – Gertrude lived at 27 Rue de Fleurus. Go find her home!

Marche Bastille – There is a wonderful Thursday and Sunday market here that is located between the Bastille and Richard Lenoir metro stations.

Fat Tire Bike Tours – This is a spiffy way to see the city and learn. From day tours to biking around Versailles, you must check this out.

Luxembourg Gardens – These are expansive and a perfect place for a picnic. And they were inspired by the Boboli Gardens in Florence.

The Luxembourg RER line B takes you right to CDG airport.

Parc Monceau is a real gem! Surrounded by spectacular, historical mansions, it has a charming carousel that is definitely photo worthy. Stroll up to Rue de Levis for a real parisian market street experience.

Jardin de la Nouvelle – beautiful park. Make sure to look for the almost hidden steps. It’s adorable and an excellent place to rest.

L’Institut du Monde Arabe – go up to the Panoramic Terrace to revel in Paris vibes.
